Captain Eddie Aman

Captain Eddie Aman entered service with South Carolina Law Enforcement in 1995. Captain Aman began his career with the Anderson Police Department in the summer of 1996 with the Uniform Patrol Division, and subsequently became an Investigator with the Vice & Narcotics Unit. Captain Aman joined the South Carolina Highway Patrol in 2000, and served with them until 2005, when he returned to the Anderson Police Department. Captain Aman has served the Anderson Police Department as an Investigator, Recruiter, Supervisor, and as the SWAT Team Leader. Captain Aman is one of five current SWAT Team members certified as Type I operators through the Department of Homeland Security.

Captain Aman is a former UNITED STATES MARINE, and holds an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Tri-County Technical College, a Bachelor's Degree (Magna Cum Laude) in Criminal Justice from Anderson University, and is currently attending the Command College at Anderson University pursuing a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice. Captain Aman is a certified Instructor through the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy, and specializes in Firearms, Defensive Tactics, and SWAT. Captain Aman also serves as an Adjunct Instructor for Tri-County Technical College, and for the Government Training Institute in Firearms & Tactics. You can contact Capt.
