A.C.E Team

Dodge Charger

The A.C.E. Team (Aggressive Criminal Enforcement) founded in 2007 consists of two uniformed officers. The A.C.E. Team's primary mission is dual purpose. The team will be the enforcement and interdiction program in known areas of criminal activity and aggressive driving. The team's high visibility objective is to reduce traffic crashes and fatalities by aggressively enforcing the motor vehicle laws. Traffic accidents and personal injuries have been reduced by a significant amount since the inception of this team. The A.C.E. team is also responsible for the zero tolerance enforcement on the war on drugs and transportation of illegal substances. The A.C.E. Team has become a very productive part of our anti-drug and traffic safety campaign. The officers have struck a good balance between traffic and criminal law enforcement to make our streets safer.

The City of Anderson Police Department has received Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Awards for 2006, 2007, and 2008 from the South Carolina Department of Public Safety in pursuit of Criminal Interdiction operations.

The team is available, upon request, to give a Traffic Safety Presentation to schools and civic organizations - Call (864) 231- 7615.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving Agency of the Year 2008

The team will be under the direct supervision of Patrol Services Operations Captain, Jim Stewart.

The team also works with other law enforcement agencies in the South Carolina Law Enforcement Network Tenth Judicial Circuit to help reduce traffic fatality crashes by aggressive traffic enforcement and public awareness and education.
